For the first time ever, we have curated a lovely box of Palestinian treats to celebrate Easter, a holy day that began in Palestine! While the gift box includes a delicious selection of goodies and ingredients from the balad, you are also contributing to more than 20 makers in Palestine generating income! Gift this special Easter Gift Box to yourself or send it to someone celebrating this incredibly special holiday!
We traveled across Palestine, visiting small family shops and farms to be able to create this beautiful, hand packed gift box. Even the boxes themselves, stickers and design work are all Palestinian. We believe it's what makes the gift box extra special and so we've included in each box a small brochure that tells the receiver what's inside and why it's special! We really struggled with the pricing and decided in the end that we thought people would still buy it even if it was so expensive, if it meant getting the very best we could offer. The Palestinian sourced date paste and olive wood maámoul press are gold!
Please visit our blog for a recipe to make our very special maámoul cookies that are in every Palestinian home during the holidays!
